Homeopathic Prophylaxis (Preventive) for Corona Virus - Camphora 1M

Renowned Homeopath Dr Rajan Sankaran has zeroed into homoeopathic remedy Camphora 1M as the Genus Epidemicus to be used as preventive and to aid recovery from Corona Virus (COVID 19). A genus epidemicus remedy is said to cover the symptoms seen in the majority of Corona infected persons.

He has reached this conclusion after encouraging results seen in patients treated with Camphora 1M in Iran, Romania, Nepal, Netherland and a few other countries. Check this link to see a few of the case studies:
Homeopathy for Coronavirus Covid-19 Infection
Mr Ravi Bajaj, CMD and CEO of Bajaj Auto who is a proselytiser of homoeopathy in a video interview with journalist Barkha Dutt makes a strong case for homoeopathy to be used as a prophylactic to prevent Coronavirus infection and also to help quick recovery.

Dr Rajan Sankaran has also been able to gather more symptoms from cases in Kasturba Hospital in Mumbai which has helped towards concluding Camphora as that covers the genus epidemicus of Coronavirus.

Fr. Britto Joseph S.J. - Empowering Health Care

Meet my first Guru who reignited my latent passion in nature consonant medicine. Fr. M. Britto Joseph s.j. a Jesuit Priest, belonging to the Madurai Province, is credited with evangelizing and proselytizing Naturopathy and Homoeopathy in India. Affordable and safe health-care has always been a need and it still continues to be a necessity for the majority of the population (middle-class and rural) in India, a country where  major share of one’s earning is spent on housing and food, savings are meager, often liquidated by medical and hospitalization expenses.  Families often end up in huge debt.   A country that enjoys a rich heritage medicine system in the form of Ayurveda and Naturopathy is today a victim of lifestyle diseases that is only burdening the existing inadequate health-care facilities in India.   It is against this background we can come to appreciate the value of Fr. Britto’s mission. Fr. Britto has done a yeoman service through his mis...

Drug Interaction and its side effects - Is your doctor factoring drug interaction while prescribing?

In the US, 3 to 7% of all hospitalizations are due to Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR). ADRs occur during 10 to 20% of hospitalizations; about 10 to 20% of these ADRs are severe. If countries like USA which has a stringent food and drug administration get millions of patients who suffer adverse drug reaction then the scale of adverse drug reaction in a populous country like India, where controls are  lax and reporting tardy. This would be a similar story in other developing and under-developed nations. The most common categories of drugs withdrawn in the last decade ( Developed Countries) were non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (28%), anti-diabetics (14.28%), anti-obesity (14.28%), antihistamines (14.28%), gastroprokinetic drugs (7.14%), breast cancer and infertility drugs (7.14%), irritable bowel syndrome and constipation drugs (7.14%) and antibiotics (7.14%).  And it takes 3-5 years for a drug to be banned in India after it has been banned in other countries. I...

Black Lung Disease- THE HEALTH EFFECTS OF BREATHING COAL DUST LADEN AIR’

My town Vasco-da-Gama is being ravaged by coal dust. The Indian port town of Goa  is a major ore and coal handling hub. The laid back citizenry is in a grip of respiratory disorders which is now trending towards an endemic proportion and this has led to frantic efforts by its people to right every wrong.  A wrong, in which the culpability of the government and its statutory bodies responsible to monitor and ensure compliance is beyond doubt. This post  hopes to educate and spread awareness on the fate that stares at the people of this town especially the children.  Some of the text reproduced here is taken from a study paper in Australia titled ‘THE HEALTH EFFECTS OF BREATHING THE AIR NEAR COAL MINES’. Every occupation bears the risk of some disorder of the other which is commonly termed as occupational hazard.  Those who work in salt pans have their share of disorder, and so do those working in iron, lead, and even gold mines.  The coal mine work...
