Classical Homeopathy Workshop: A Workshop For Serious Professionals

Just successfully completed a workshop on “Classical Homeopathy” that ended with a Practical Test - live case-taking with justification for the remedy selected followed by a Written Test and topped with a Viva…and then a certificate that comes with a feedback note that tells you your strength and areas where improvement is required.

The workshop meant for busy practicing homeopaths was held once every two months over the weekend (Saturday 10 am to Sunday 6 pm) which includes case taking at the hospital in the evening, followed by witnessing the consultation process by Dr. Amarsinha Nikam from 12 pm to 7 am, a few hours of rest and then a session and hospital rounds at the 80 bed establishment where one gets to see the patients of varied pathologies, the remedy prescribed and the progress made by them. (Check this link for info on cases seen at the hospital http://individualizedhealthcare.blogspot.in/2012/10/experiencing-sublime-joy-of-homoeopathy.html )

The workshop by Dr. Amarsinha Nikam, M.D. of Aditya Homeopathic Hospital & Healing Centre under the aegis of ‘Mission Homeopathy’ was a veritable experience for all the participants some of them were homeopaths who strayed into practicing allopathy and were now seeking to renew their confidence and return to practicing pure Hahnemannian homeopathy, while some were those who were confused with the teachings of different prevailing schools of homeopathy and had to empty their cups (unlearn) to learn from a master who has been managing one of its kind homeopathic hospital for the past 18 years, where patients given-up by other pathies seek refuge and go back cured.

At Aditya Homeopathy Hospital one will find cases of critical emergencies and cases of deep pathologies being treated without the aid of intravenous intervention, oxygen or any allopathic medicines (even paracetamol is not administered).

The next batch of this workshop starts from January first week – and is highly recommended for those who wish to improve their success rate.  Those interested may contact:

Fr. Britto Joseph S.J. - Empowering Health Care

Meet my first Guru who reignited my latent passion in nature consonant medicine. Fr. M. Britto Joseph s.j. a Jesuit Priest, belonging to the Madurai Province, is credited with evangelizing and proselytizing Naturopathy and Homoeopathy in India. Affordable and safe health-care has always been a need and it still continues to be a necessity for the majority of the population (middle-class and rural) in India, a country where  major share of one’s earning is spent on housing and food, savings are meager, often liquidated by medical and hospitalization expenses.  Families often end up in huge debt.   A country that enjoys a rich heritage medicine system in the form of Ayurveda and Naturopathy is today a victim of lifestyle diseases that is only burdening the existing inadequate health-care facilities in India.   It is against this background we can come to appreciate the value of Fr. Britto’s mission. Fr. Britto has done a yeoman service through his mis...

Drug Interaction and its side effects - Is your doctor factoring drug interaction while prescribing?

In the US, 3 to 7% of all hospitalizations are due to Adverse Drug Reactions (ADR). ADRs occur during 10 to 20% of hospitalizations; about 10 to 20% of these ADRs are severe. If countries like USA which has a stringent food and drug administration get millions of patients who suffer adverse drug reaction then the scale of adverse drug reaction in a populous country like India, where controls are  lax and reporting tardy. This would be a similar story in other developing and under-developed nations. The most common categories of drugs withdrawn in the last decade ( Developed Countries) were non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (28%), anti-diabetics (14.28%), anti-obesity (14.28%), antihistamines (14.28%), gastroprokinetic drugs (7.14%), breast cancer and infertility drugs (7.14%), irritable bowel syndrome and constipation drugs (7.14%) and antibiotics (7.14%).  And it takes 3-5 years for a drug to be banned in India after it has been banned in other countries. Right Labor ≅ Right Exercise ≅ Right Vocation ≅ Right Health

"I have no more than twenty acres of ground," he replied, "the whole of which I cultivate myself with the help of my children; and our labor keeps off from us the three great evils - boredom, vice, and want."  ~ Voltaire Life and labour are synonymous. But we are trading our wealth for labour. People who do not do physical labour are considered privileged and those who have no option but engage in physical labour are considered unlucky. What we need to be aware of is that too much labour kills and that too little labour also kills. Each person should find according to his constitution how much labour and what kind of labour is best suited for his temperament. We need to choose the right labour –for our body, mind and soul... The health of our cells depends not just on the nutrition we get from our diet, the stimulation it gets from various form of exercise but also from the intellectual and spiritual nourishment it gets as part of   the process of its...
